This unit possesses short-circuit protection, capable of instant testing for bad ground contacts.
Operation is made easy—once the unit is hooked up to the vehicle’s battery, an automotive technician can channel a positive or negative battery current to the tip by altering the position of the power switch.
The EM285 is a comprehensive 6-24V DC test kit. Note: It should not be used on AC voltage.
Operation Instructions:
Unroll the cable of the unit.
Attach the red clip to the positive terminal of the vehicle’s battery and the black clip to the negative terminal.
