Installation Guidelines:
- The remote control infrared alarm device plays an essential role in the installation process. Its infrared detection sensitivity is high when the human body moves laterally relative to the lens; however, the vertical movement sensitivity is a bit low. Therefore, the installer must pay close attention to the detector’s horizontal plane angle and height for efficient functioning.
- Avoid installing the device near extremely cold or hot sources like air-conditioning outlets, electric heaters, air coolers, etc. The device should not be directly facing the doors.
- Make sure there are no obstacles between the protected area and the remote infrared alarm device.
- The device should form an angle of 10 to 30 degrees with the wall. The detection distance is farthest at this angle. Customize the installation angle as per the real-time installation scenario.
How to Install the Product?
- Fix the universal base approximately 2 meters above the ground level.
- Open the battery cover. Install 4 AAA batteries following the designated marks inside the battery box.
- Mount the remote infrared warning device on the universal seat and rotate the device to fulfill the installation requirements.
Operating Instructions:
- After battery installation, push the remote control button once, the system will produce a beep sound, and the green light indicator will turn on. This suggests that the alarm is prepared to function.
- The device has a standby delay of 15 seconds. It won’t signal any alarm detection within these 15 seconds. It is advised to leave the electronic dog’s detection area within this period.
- Post 15 seconds, if anyone enters the device’s detection radius, it will activate the red light for 5 seconds. This provides a window for the owner to use the remote control and turn off the alarm. If no signal from the remote control is detected in these 5 seconds, the system will give an intense alarm for 30 seconds at 105 DB volume. After 15 seconds of the alarm sound, if the device detects any motion again, the alarm will repeat the cycle.
- The user can use the remote control to deactivate the detection circuit and stop the alarm during any alarm incident.
