User tips: This remote needs to be programmed before use. Here are the instructions to program the remote:
1. Get inside the van and ensure all doors are closed.
2. Put a key that is functional into the ignition.
3. Flip the ignition between position “0” to “II” eight times within 10 seconds.
4. The key should rest at the “II” position
5. The vehicle’s door locks will lock and unlock, indicating the vehicle is in “programming mode”. Please note that the next instruction must be completed within 20 seconds
6. Press any button on the new remote
7. Once the door locks lock and unlock, it indicates the remote has been successfully programmed.
8. For other remotes (new or existing), repeat instruction 6 (up to a maximum of four remotes can be programmed).
9. Finally, turn the ignition back to position “0”. The door locks locking and unlocking indicates the programming process is complete.
Note: It is advised that non-professionals should have the key programmed in a professional garage.
