The Nanlite Forza 300 LED is a monolight style light fixture that emits impressive light output for its size. It weighs a mere 5.5 lbs and is compact, making it suitably portable for various locations and easy to fit in most gear cases.
The Forza 300 utilizes a COB LED module, enabling a robust light output of 43060 Lux of 5600K daylight-balanced light at a 1-meter range. It sports a high CRI/TLCI of 98/95, assuring accurate color rendition.
The universal Bowens style light modifier mount ensures the Forza 300 is compatible with a vast array of light modifiers, inclusive of Nanlite’s softboxes and umbrellas. The light can recreate effects such as lightning, a TV screen, a flash, and a malfunctioning light bulb, adaptable at a button’s touch.
The control panel, AC adapter, and battery plate of the Forza 300 are merged into a single unit that can be conveniently hung from any light stand, maintaining a low center of gravity. This unit additionally functions as a DMX connection point, facilitating swift adaptation to any DMX-controlled setup.
Designed for both in-studio and on-location usage, the Forza 300 can function on the supplied AC adapter or on 2x 14.8w V-Mount batteries (not included), offering flexibility in any location given the power availability.
The light fixture comes with a 5/8in receiver mount for easy placement on any standard light stand, and the 330-degree rotating yolk enables simplified angle adjustment or ceiling hanging in a studio environment. Despite its active, silent fan, the Forza 300 is still suitable for sound-sensitive circumstances.
