How to use:
1. Adjust the glass bottle cutter to fit the size of the bottle
To do this, simply loosen the screw and adjust the stand of the glass cutter to the length you want to cut. Place the bottle on it and adjust the cutting wheel’s position so that it maintains contact with the glass while scribing.
2. Apply the candle on the scratches (2 or 3 times for best results)
3. Score the bottle
Position the cutting wheel at the appropriate location and start slowly rotating the bottle until scratches appear.
4. Separate the two parts
Alternate pouring hot and cold water on the scratches (start with hot water, then cold water, while continuously turning the bottle). Repeat this 2 to 3 times and the two parts will separate automatically. Thicker glass may require additional cycles.
5. Smooth the edges
Use the included polishing paper to sand down the edges for a smooth finish.
