Description
The CLASSIC Series circuitry integrates built-in speaker simulation. The speaker/cabinet of each model is uniquely tuned to align with the respective amplifier. Using a multiple-mixed cabinet concept, the product ensures a smooth response and avoids peaks, valleys, and notches common in single mixing. Your cabinet’s frequency response would not be negatively influenced by the speaker curve. When using with a guitar amplifier, there is no requirement to disable the speaker simulation circuit. The speaker simulation collaborates with the EQ controls, allowing personalized tailoring of your overall sound.
Features
LEVEL: This function enables adjustment of your unit’s output level. Its operational range is designed to be exceptionally wide for compatibility across multiple pieces of equipment.
LOW, HIGH, MID: The post-EQ section on this device provides you with elevated control, mimicking a studio mixing board’s capabilities. These active controls allow both cuts and boosts of ±12dB, unlike passive tone controls. The Low feature operates at 125 Hz, the High frequency is 3.2 kHz, and the Mid is uniquely tuned for each model.
DRIVE: This feature mimics the effects of a tube amp’s output section being in overdrive, fulfilling the dual role of enhancing volume and gain during the first half of its rotation.
VOICE: This is a unique feature for each pedal in the series. It traverses the gamut of tone possibilities intrinsic to each amplifier style. Besides altering the frequency response, it also influences the attack and drive characteristics of specific amplifier styles. As such, further adjustment of gain and tone settings may be necessary after tweaking the Voice control.
