Key Features:
- It utilizes the principle of high-frequency plasma discharge, which creates an instant metal weld puddle.
- Allows for the adjustment of output power in proportion to the wire size.
- Produces a smooth, sturdy finish on the final product.
Steps to Install:
- Connect electrode holder to output negative and connect another electrode holder to positive output.
- Sharpen tungsten needles using a grinding machine, following the principle of point discharge.
- When setting up the weld head, ensure the protrusion of the tungsten needle is about 50mm. The tungsten needle should have a diameter of 1mm.
Instructions for Use:
- Activate the power switch.
- Make necessary adjustments to the power knob. A general scale of 1 to 1.5 is ideal according to the diameter of the part. For finer tuning, a scale of 7-8 is suited (this can be adjusted according to work requirements).
- Hold the part with tweezers, focusing its end towards the tungsten needle (optimal distance is 5mm). Ensure that the entire part does not touch the tungsten needle.
- Press the foot switch briefly – welding is done upon this action.
Important Reminders:
- Don’t step on the foot switch for too long. A quick step is enough – an overstay might short-circuit the machine and burn out the internal circuit.
- This machine is finely-tuned, handle with care.
- Due to the flash which could potentially harm your eyes, use protective measures when operating.
- When the foot switch is engaged, avoid touching the metal parts of the tungsten needle and tweezers to prevent tingling.
- Non-specialists or non-professionals are advised against performing maintenance as the machine operates under high pressure.
