This HD Video Converter features a new generation digital chip that offers low power consumption and constant, stable operations 24/7. It utilises 3D compensation technology to effectively eliminate jitter and motion trail phenomena in fast-moving images. Included is DCDI processing technology, a patented technique developed by Faroudja, to remove video serrations in high-definition converters.
The converter also has a “bad edit detection” capability to inspect original streaming in various video streams, and to rebuild a more precise video signal, forming a completely vertical resolution without dynamic physical imagery. The True Life enhancement technology identifies image conversion details, like skin fine lines, spots, or hair, and its treatment of these details results in clearer, more vibrant images.
With Motion Adaptive processing technology, this product prevents stain production when reducing pixels, faithfully restoring the original image. Its dynamic detector technology briefly filters static images and utilises image storage technology as required to store color information. This feature ensures that complex color scenes, such as tile changes, crossover design clothing, or leafy environments, display without redundant mottling.
The converter uses Scaler video processing technology for various operations. It can upscale CVBS signals to 1080P/720@50/60Hz output and downscale 1080P@50/60Hz HDMI signals to 720P@50/60Hz output. The Scaler technology also up-scales standard definition video formats (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i) to 1080P@50/60Hz output.
Through I2S technology, L/R analog audio input signals are incorporated into the HDMI interface for seamless audio transmission via an HDMI cable. This eliminates interference from analog audio transmission lines. By using digital decoding technology, HDMI digital audio is decoded into separate SPDIF coaxial audio and Analog audio outputs.
The converter manages HDCP treaty processing. It can decode and remove HDCP agreements, then sends out HDMI signals without HDCP, allowing reception by devices without HDCP decoding.
Lastly, the converter has standard conversion and video processing capabilities, including converting PAL, NTSC standards into HDMI@50/60Hz and converting 50Hz/60Hz HDMI signals into alternate refresh rates.
