Product Description:
This high-power module works specifically for the Prusa I3 3D Printer. It addresses the issue of the heated bed generating substantial pressure and excessive load current. This component acts as a generic add-on expansion module for the heated bed.
It boasts a maximum current capability of 25A, proving beneficial for 3D printers with a Chitu controller board limited to 15A. This addition allows the board to manage a maximum current of 25A.
Its utility becomes prominent when your power requirement equals or exceeds 15A. For instance, if your total power consumption is 240W for a 12V power supply, it indicates the necessity for at least 20A (since 20X12=240W).
One significant safety feature of this module is its protection against excessive current that a 12V powered heated bed 3D printer may generate. It safeguards the controller board connectors from overheating and possible burnout.
This product is equipped with mounting holes of 0.12in diameter, appropriate for M3 screws. It effectively resolves issues related to an overpowered hot bed and load current.
However, note that as the Chitu controller board can only manage up to 15A of current, this setting might not function.
The package includes:
1 New MOS Module
1 Double-headed Power Cord
1 Red Power Cord
1 Black Power Cord
1 2PIN Cable
4 U-shaped Terminals
