Output Scaling (Oscilloscope Use)

This sensor converts current into a proportional voltage signal for easy measurement:

  • 10 mV/A mode: 1 A = 10 mV
  • 100 mV/A mode: 1 A = 100 mV

You can calculate current directly from the measured voltage:

  • 10 mV/A → I = V ÷ 10
  • 100 mV/A → I = V ÷ 100

Example: In 100 mV/A mode, a 10 mA current produces approximately 1 mV output.

👉 For low-current measurements, the 100 mV/A mode provides better sensitivity and is recommended.


How It Works

  • With Oscilloscope:
    Outputs a voltage proportional to current, allowing waveform observation and analysis
  • With Multimeter:
    Works with mA input mode using a 2500:1 transformer ratio for direct reading
  • With Custom Systems:
    Can be integrated into self-developed measurement setups as a current probe
