Functionality:
This tool is designed for stripping the fiber tail sheath, fibre core protection layer, and the fibre core coating. It can also be used for stripping the fibre core coating of rubber-insulated wire optical cable, but it is not suitable for peeling the sheath of the rubber-insulated wire optical cable.
Applications:
* Stripping 250-micron buffer coating to expose 125-micron cladded fiber.
* The second hole is for stripping 600-900um buffer coating.
* The third hole is for stripping 1.6-3mm fiber jackets.
* The 140 um diameter hole and V-opening in the blade allow for the removal of 250-micron buffer coating from 125-micron fiber.
