This lock is adaptable to metal cabinets with a thickness varying from 0.5mm to 1.5mm, as well as wooden cabinets with a thickness span between 16mm and 20mm.
Another notable feature is Password Unlocking: a distinctive, customizable numerical lock with a combination range from 1 to 16 digits. The factory-set password sequence is 1-2-3-4, making it an appropriate option for myriad applications like toolboxes, cabinets, drawers, and mailboxes among others, particularly where traditional keys are impractical.
The product includes a unique Scramble Pin Code to shield the real password from unwarranted observations. The anti-theft technology embedded involves inputting one or more fake codes before or after the actual password. Maximum 16 digits are accepted. Entering an incorrect password four consecutive times activates an auto-alarm, disabling the lock for 60 seconds.
In case the password is forgotten, a decode function aids in recovery. Procuring the decode number involves presenting the code imprinted on the lock to the distributor, which will reset the password to the default factory setting “4321” for management and “1234” for users.
Another enhancement is the automatic power shortage alert as the lock will not work in low voltage conditions. The password lock presents a low power sign to remind the user about the need for battery replacement. The lock is powered by a 3V CR2032 battery (not included), ensuring that password memory is retained even during battery change.
