Operating: Achieve seamless soldering by cleaning the parts to be joined and the soldering iron tip. Simply coat all faces of the tip with solder. Remember to heat the parts first, not the solder, then apply flux-core solder. Do make sure the solder melts and flows freely.
Caution: When you plug in the soldering iron for the first time, a small amount of smoke may emanate from the tip. This will stop in a short while and shouldn’t repeat. Use the included soldering stand and aids to prevent any burns to fingers. Take care not to pull the solder excessively to avoid burns and don’t file the tip face or apply more solder than necessary.
