The unit offers temperature control between 50-480℃, empowering you to take on many diverse projects. It’s important to remember that continuously working at high temperature can lead to tip damage. Keep in mind, common solder has a melting point of 183℃, while lead-free solder melts at 227℃. Most of the welding tasks can be accomplished between the temperature range of 300-380℃.
This product comes with a 3V battery and can melt tin in no time! We advise limiting temperatures to less than 380℃, as that’s when the iron’s head begins to oxidize and deteriorate, seriously affecting the heating core’s lifespan. It’s quite normal for temperature reading to fluctuate above 380℃, as the higher the temperature, the greater the variability.
The STM32 V3.1S comes with a brand new soldering iron head. Initially, due to the resistance of the new head being unstable, the temperature reading may fluctuate or show errors. Don’t worry, this is entirely normal. With repeated usage, the stability improves, enhancing the readings.
