Product Description:
Vital Information:
Avoid continuous operation of the soldering iron at high temperatures, as it can easily damage the tip. Regular solder has a melting point at 183°C, while lead-free solder has a melting point at 227°C. Typically, the soldering process happens around 300-380°C, with 380°C being the tipping point. Beyond this temperature, the iron head oxidizes rapidly and loses heat, significantly reducing its effective lifespan. Note that any temperature display over 380°C will fluctuate—higher temperatures lead to higher fluctuations. However, this is normal and should not impact the use of the soldering iron.
This soldering station includes a new solder iron tip. New solder iron tips may have unstable resistance which can cause the temperature display to jump or show an ERROR. This is a normal occurrence and should stabilize after a few uses.
