Specifications of the contraption: The controller of this handy device is a STM32 V3.1S, readily adaptable to power inputs between AC100-240V. It’s capable of operating at temperatures from 50℃ to 480℃, with a maximum power output of 120W. The device comes with a 1.3inch display and runs on a 3V battery. The melting time of tin is also sustained at 3V. It’s housed in a stylish, yet rugged aluminum alloy case and measures 137 x 88 x 38mm in size.
Please Note: The tip of the solder is not designed for prolonged operation at high temperatures, and may become damaged if subjected to such conditions. Therefore, we recommend working within the range of 300-380℃ which will be best for the majority of welding tasks. Operating at temperatures above 380℃ may cause the iron tip to oxidize, detract from its longevity, and affect the performance of the heating core. Should the temperature exceed 380℃, the display may show drastic fluctuations - a common and normal occurrence which won’t interfere with the device’s operation.
The soldering iron included with this station is factory-fresh and may initially display erratic temperature readings due to inherent resistance instability. However, rest assured that with regular usage, the readings will stabilize.
