Product Overview

The LWGY Series Stainless Steel Turbine Flow Meter is a high-precision mechanical flow measurement solution designed for clean, low-viscosity liquids.

Unlike electromagnetic flow meters that require conductive fluids, this turbine flow meter operates independently of liquid conductivity. Measurement is based on turbine rotational speed, making it ideal for:

  • Purified water

  • RO water

  • Refined oil

  • Light crude oil

  • Diesel

  • Alcohol

  • Organic and inorganic chemical liquids

It is suitable for ultra-low conductivity liquids (≤ 5 µS/cm) and is not affected by conductivity variations.

⚠ Not recommended for sewage or liquids containing solid particles.

Installation Requirements (Important)

To ensure measurement accuracy, follow these installation guidelines:

1. Full Pipe Requirement

The pipeline must remain completely full of liquid at all times.
Air pockets or partially filled pipes will cause inaccurate readings.


2. Correct Installation Position

Recommended:

  • Install at the lowest point of the pipeline system

  • Install on a vertical pipe with upward flow

Avoid:

  • Installing at the highest point (air accumulation)

  • Installing on vertical downward flow (may cause empty pipe conditions)


3. Straight Pipe Requirement

To stabilize flow profile:

  • Minimum 10D straight pipe upstream

  • Minimum 5D straight pipe downstream

(D = pipe diameter)
