Features
- Non-Contact AC Voltage Detection: This device allows you to test for an AC voltage by inserting the tester’s probe into an outlet; there is also an alarm buzzer function for additional safety. The integral LED flashlight can be useful in low light environments.
- AC Voltage Detection Ranges: This tool comes with dual sensitivity modes for AC voltage detection: low (48-1000V) and high (12-1000V). We recommend starting with the low sensitivity mode.
- Live/ Neutral Wire Discrimination: The tester exhibits a strong induction when coming into contact with a live wire, while in the case of a neutral wire, the induction is weak or non-existent.
- Ambient Temperature Measurement: This feature enables the device to read the temperature of the surrounding environment (not suitable for water or food temperature). Units are selectable between ℃/ ℉.
- Operational Convenience: The LCD facilitates easy readings, and the compact size of the device permits easy operation with one hand.
- Power Source: The device operates on 2 AAA batteries (not included) and signals when the battery voltage drops too low. To save battery life, it automatically shuts down after approximately 5 minutes without an operation or voltage signal.
