The product in focus is a single board solution that simplifies the functionalities of Ramps 1.4 interface which is known to be cumbersome and prone to breakdowns. It employs a high-quality, optimized two-layer board, unlike the average Ramps which use just a two-layer board.

A special power chip, specifically designed to support 12V-24V power input, is incorporated into the circuit board to tackle the heat dissipation issues common in Ramps voltage conversion chips. This board utilizes the same configuration as Ramps 1.4 and can conveniently replace it.

The motor drive is 4982, offering the same performance as the 4988 but with a superior heat dissipation effect due to its SOP package. The product features high-quality MOSFET tubes which enhance its heat dissipation capacity.

The board accepts 24V input and lowers the hot bed current to 1/4 in the same system, reducing the risk of the hot bed MOS tubes overheating. It is also compatible with Ramps 1.4, 2004 LCD control board, and 12864 LCD control board.

The MKS-BASE is an open-source motherboard that resolves issues related to Ramps 1.4, Megatronics V2.0, and more. It is particularly suited for mass-producing manufacturers of 3D printers as motherboards. The connective lines are specified as: 2PIN, 3PIN, 4PIN.

The product is compatible with 2004 LCD or 12864 LCD (sans the need for L-shaped adapter board). Because the open-source project for the 2004 LCD and 12864 LCD only determines the PIN ports of EXP1 and EXP2 and the “bull-horn insertion” direction lacks specific specifications, non-Makerbase 2004 LCD and 12864 LCD might require the data line cards to be inserted in reverse.

The product supports Marlin/Smoothieware/Repetier firmware and features a 3.2-inch touch screen. Its dimensions are: 110mm X65mm, with a hole size of 102mm X57mm.

The circuit board utilizes a 32-bit STM32 processor and can be updated using an SD file. Supported storage systems include an SD card and USB disk, with support for Gcode file format.

Additional modules are available but not included in the shipment: WIFI module, a shutdown module, Material breakage check switch, intermittent interruption, external clamping slot.

The package contains: a MKS BASE V1.6, a 30cm USB Data Line, and a MKS TFT32 V4.0 LCD Touch Screen.
