The Fiber Optic Cold Shut Tool Kit includes a battery optical power meter, red-light pen, a 3-hole fiber stripper, wire stripper, fixator, fiber cleaver, an empty bottle, red-light pen bag, ropes, two ceramic cores, a standby red-light penhead, cutter storage bag, tool adjusting wrench, dust-free paper, and an adapter. It comes with a large-capacity tool storage bag that is thickened and waterproof for enhanced durability.
Features
The kit features a battery optical power meter with seven test wavelengths within a -70~+10dBm test scope. It supports a backlight display on/off function and has 2.5mm universal ports. The meter uses LED illumination and has a wavelength memory function.
Included in the kit is a metal red-light pen with an antislip handle and a strong light source. The pen features a 360° rotation design and 2.5mm universal interfaces.
The 3-hole fiber stripper in the kit allows for easy peeling without causing damage to the optical fiber. Ranges of stripping include 2mm-3mm for the optical fiber outer protective layer, 900 μm-250 μm for the white soft rubber protective layer of the optical fiber core, and 250 μm-125 μm for the coating of the optical fiber core.
The wire stripper, suitable for 1-core/2-core wires, is rubber insulated, light, portable, and is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.
The included fixator is used for making cold connectors and is suitable for different specifications of the cold joint, making it easy to use and efficiency-enhancing.
Moreover, the kit features a fiber cleaver that automatically springs back, thus enables cold connection and smooth cutting. It is also designed with a 3-in-1 fixture.
The kit includes a corrosion-resistant empty bottle with a thickened bottle body, a splashproof pump head, and it is easy to carry and use.
In addition, there are some extra accessories, which include a red-light pen bag, ropes, two ceramic cores, a standby red-light penhead, a cutter storage bag, a tool-adjusting wrench, dust-free paper, and an adapter.
