Product Overview:
The NanLite Para 120 Softbox is a high-quality lighting system featuring a 47-inch, 16-sided softbox with a Bowens Mount. Its deep parabolic design allows for even and seamless lighting distribution. This creates a natural-looking effect with wrap-around lighting and enhanced directional control.
Light Control:
The Para 120 has a reflective silver interior that optimizes light output. In addition, its removable front diffuser serves to soften the lighting whilst reducing contrast. When used without the diffuser, the Para 120 acts as a large reflector, producing high contrast light.
Bowens Style Speed Ring:
Included in the package is a Bowens Style Speed Ring. It’s specifically designed to work with NanLite’s Forza Series LEDs. However, its near-universal compatibility extends to a wide assortment of LED, strobe, and constant light sources.
Optional Fabric Grids:
The Para 120 can be equipped with optional fabric grids, available separately. These touch-fastener grids effectively control light spill, narrowing the beam angle to 60 degrees and focusing the light beam forward for additional directionality.
Specifications:
The Hexadecagon shaped softbox has 16 rods. It requires a Bowens Style Speedring, which is included in the package. The softbox can accept grids which are sold separately. It measures 47in in diameter and 29in in depth, weighing 4.1lb.
