  1. Multimeter (mA level current file): Instantly view the current value both before and after the transformer ​ratio. With the standard 2500:1 configuration, this process is made even easier.

  2. Oscilloscope: This is an⁢ indirect way of measuring direct or alternating currents. First, convert the current into⁣ a proportional voltage. ​Then, record your findings using an⁢ oscilloscope. For accurate measurements,⁣ connect a​ non-inductive ‍resistor with high accuracy and small resistance in the circuit under ⁤inspection. Use ‌an oscilloscope to then measure the ⁢voltage, with the voltage across the resistor making effective calculations. The measured current value can be determined with⁤ the formula I=U/R,‍ where I denotes⁢ the measured current value (A),​ U indicates the effective value ‍of voltage at both ends of the series resistor (V), and R is the resistance value of ‌the series-connected non-inductive resistor (Ω).
