The product is a water sensor that operates on a ZigBee3.0 wireless protocol, connecting to a hub that can be controlled remotely through an app available on both iOS and Android platforms named “Smart Life/Tuya”. This allows you to monitor water levels effectively, keeping you informed about any overflow incidents in real-time.
The sensor functions by detecting water reaching its probe and subsequently sending an alarm signal to a ZigBee gateway. The gateway, in turn, pushes an alert to your phone, enabling you to respond promptly, thereby reducing the risk of flooding.
Once the water sensor identifies any leakage, it enables the smart valve to automatically cut off the water supply, as per the pre-defined settings in the app. This feature is useful in various scenarios throughout your household, including the kitchen and washrooms, among others.
