Presenting clarity on how to utilize the PZEM-026 Voltage Tester.
To begin with, let’s talk about Voltage measurements. This tester’s range is from 40 to 400V. You will find that if your voltage is less than 100V, the display will show a decimal value such as 80.0V. If your voltage is greater or equal to 100V, you will get a whole number display like 220V. The accuracy you can expect is ±1%.
Now let’s move onto the Ampere measurement. The range here goes from 0 to 100A. If your Ampere is less than 10A, it would display a decimal value such as 1.00A. Between 10A and 100A, it will show in a format like 10.0A and if it exceeds a 100A, it would show 100A. Its starting measurement is at 0.02A and its accuracy falls within ±1%.
For user-friendly experience, this tester includes a backlight control feature. By simply giving a short press to the key, you can turn the backlight on or off as per your requirement.
An excellent feature of this tester is its ‘Error Adjustment’. We make it a point to calibrate the product 100% before delivery, however, users have the option to manually adjust errors, by following these steps:
Step 1: Long press the key for approximately 3 seconds until you see the screen digit flash. Once this happens, release the key.
Step 2: When the digit starts to flicker, it means the error adjustment state has been entered. You will notice the digit cycle flashing in the following sequence:
- voltage high digit
- voltage middle digit
- voltage low digit
- voltage decimal point
- ampere high digit
- ampere middle digit
- ampere low digit
- ampere decimal point
(Note: The flicker indicates the current adjustable digit. To adjust the value, short press the key. The digital cycle will then run from 0-9 with a decimal point shift)
Step 3: Once you have made the adjustment, long press the key again for about 3 seconds. The screen will display ‘PASS’ and revert back to the normal display interface, signifying successful adjustment.
