INITIAL SET UP
Begin by threading the soldering tip through the nipple’s hole, then slot them into the unit as shown in Figure 1. Firmly screw the nipple approximately 90 degrees clockwise onto the unit, ensuring the tip is secure. Remember to attach the soldering tip when it is cold. -
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
Slide the release button down to the UNLOCK position, as seen in Figure 2. Remove the battery cartridge from the unit. Ensure the polarity is correct before inserting the batteries. Place the battery cartridge’s upper side onto the unit’s guide, slide the cartridge to position, and lock the release button. -
HOW TO SOLDER
Activate the power switch. The LED lamp will illuminate, and the soldering tip will heat up ready for soldering within 40 seconds. Always remember to switch off the power and use the protective cap after soldering.
