Technical Bits and Bobs:
This white carbon fiber heating wire is encased in durable silicon rubber. It has a resistance rating of 3K = 133±10%Ω/M and can withstand temperatures up to 200℃. Moreover, it can survive a high voltage test of 3000V and has a power of 15W/M. Another specification worth noting is the infrared wavelength which ranges between 8UM and 18UM.
Wondering how to calculate the power for this product? It’s pretty straightforward: Voltage voltage / total resistance = power. To illustrate, for a wire length of 20m (3K carbon fiber), the calculation would be: 220V 220V / (20m * 133 Ohm) = 2660 watts.
The longer the heating wire, the lower the output power.
