The motor driver board has over-temperature thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and crossover-current protection features to ensure reliable operation. It also has intelligent chopping control that automatically selects the correct current decay mode, either fast decay or slow decay, depending on the situation.
The A4988 Motor Driver Board offers you the flexibility to choose from 5 different step resolutions: full-step, 1/2-step, 1/4-step, 1/8-step, and 1/16-step.
