Product Description: This product features the TMC2208 individual-axis stepper motor drive chip, equipped with a built-in power tube and a drive current of 1.4A, peaking at 2A. It operates within a voltage range of 4.75V-36V and includes 256 subdivisions. This chip utilizes patented technology such as spreadCycle for high chopper frequency, dcStep and stallGuard2 for stall detection. Its CoolStep feature adjusts the current dynamics, potentially saving up to 70% energy.
With regard to 3D printing applications, this product also features StealthChop silent technology, and is designed for full functionality with existing 3D printer electronics, negating the need for expensive revamps. The TMC2208 can operate independently with pulse/direction input, and users can configure settings via their digital input.
The TMC2208 V2.0 is an updated hardware model, optimized from the V1.1 version and built to fully replace it.
