How to Use the SM8124:
A: For Internal Battery Resistance Measurement

  1. Install a 9V battery and securely shut the battery door.
  2. Rotate the power switch to the “Ω” position and set the measuring range accordingly.
  3. In case of over-range, the device will indicate “1”.
  4. Remember to turn off the device after completing the measurement.

B: For Battery Voltage Measurement

  1. Ensure a 9V battery is installed.
  2. Turn the power switch to the “V” position and select the appropriate measurement range.
  3. The device will show the absolute value of voltage without polarity.
  4. Be cautious of over-range conditions during voltage testing.
  5. Always switch off after completing your measurement.
