This product is a ZigBee Hub Compatible Sensor designed to monitor the status of your doors and windows. Please note, a ZigBee gateway is essential for Internet connectivity; however, it is not included in the package.
The sensor promptly triggers a notification to your phone whenever a door or window is opened or closed. Moreover, the sensor can be linked to other sensors to ensure comprehensive monitoring. In ‘Away From Home’ mode, for instance, any break-in will activate the device, trigger a phone notification, and command any connected IP camera (not included) to begin recording. Similarly, the sensor can be programmed to automatically activate other smart devices, such as the lighting system, upon door opening.
With the accompanying app, you can remote control the device for added convenience. Its small size and adhesive design facilitate easy installation on doors, windows, drawers, and more, without damaging the aesthetics or structure of your furniture.
The sensor utilizes low power technology and comes equipped with a high-performance, low-power microprocessor. It is powered by a CR2032 3V battery, which can last up to a year (estimated on 20 triggers/day).
