Features
Offering 2 in 1 multifunctionality, this soil tester performs fertility and pH testing. Each fertility condition is classified into three types - too little, ideal, or too much. The pH scale ranges from 9 to 1, indicating alkaline to acidic conditions.
Simply insert the device’s three-probe detection system into the soil for testing. With a clear pointer dial, the fertility condition and pH value of the soil can be readily viewed and understood.
Incorporating a mechanical principle with electrode induction, this robust soil tester brings convenience, conservation of energy, and cost-effectiveness a single device. Its compact and lightweight form factor allows for comfortable portability. Whether in a garden, greenhouse, farm, orchard or a potted plant, this portable soil meter can measure soil condition on the spot.
How to Use
Fertility Testing:
1. Remove approximately 5 cm of topsoil. Mash the soil down to a depth of 13cm and clean any organic impurities such as leaves or roots.
2. Wet the soil with water before testing.
3. Clean the probes with a wipe or tissue.
4. Switch to fertility testing mode.
5. Insert the electrode (above 60mm) into the soil and wait about 10s before reading the value.
6. Record the data and remove the tester from the soil. Clean and dry the probes.
PH Testing:
1. Repeat steps 1 and 3 from Fertility Testing.
2. Wet the soil with rainwater or distilled water before testing.
3. Switch to PH testing mode.
4. Wet all three probes and clean the right probe with a wipe or tissue.
5. Insert the whole electrode into the soil, wait about 1 minute, and then read the value.
6. Follow step 6 from Fertility Testing.
Note:
1. Avoid hitting stones or inserting the device with too much force. Always clean the electrode after use and never immerse it in water for testing.
2. Refrain from leaving the tester inserted in the soil for extended periods to prevent damage.
3. Some minor variation in size and color may occur due to manual measurement and different light conditions but will not affect the quality of the product.
