Sonoff Basic is an affordable, WiFi-enabled smart switch. It offers users smart home control and can be connected to a wide variety of appliances. The switch utilizes your WiFi router to send data to a cloud platform, facilitated through Amazon’s global server. This functionality enables users to remotely control their connected appliances using the mobile application eWeLink.
With Sonoff, you can turn your appliances on or off from anywhere at any time, provided your mobile phone has network connectivity (2G/3G/4G/WiFi). Notably, you can set timers for your appliances, including countdown, scheduled, and loop timers that can contribute to a convenient lifestyle.
The eWeLink mobile application is user-friendly, with the iOS version available for download in the Apple Store and the Android version in Google Play.
Please note that Sonoff Basic does not include a 433Mhz RF receiver module. If you need RF functionality, please consider Sonoff RF.
