The Sonoff Basic is a cost-effective WiFi smart switch that offers comprehensive control over your smart home. This remote control power switch has the ability to network with a variety of devices. Data is transmitted by the Sonoff Basic WiFi electrical switch via your WiFi router to a cloud platform. This allows users to control all connected devices remotely using the mobile application eWeLink. Please note, the server utilized is Amazon global server.
By using the Sonoff WiFi switch, all your home appliances can become smart. You can control your appliances from anywhere at any time, as long as your phone has access to the internet (2G/3G/4G/WiFi). Additional features include setting timers for devices, which can range from countdown, scheduled, or loop timers, simplifying your life even more.
The eWeLink mobile application is user-friendly, allowing you to have complete control over your appliances. For iOS users, you can download the application from the Apple Store, and Android users can download the version available on Google Play.
Please keep in mind that the Sonoff Basic does NOT include a 433Mhz RF receiver module. If you’d like RF functionality, you’ll need to purchase the Sonoff RF.
