Overview: The Sonoff Basic is a budget-friendly WiFi smart switch designed to enable users to manage their home appliances effectively. This device acts as a remotely controlled power switch that can pair with a broad array of appliances.
The Sonoff Basic WiFi electrical switch relays data to a cloud platform via a WiFi router, allowing users to control connected appliances remotely with the eWeLink smartphone application. The server utilizes Amazon’s global server. Sonoff’s WiFi controlled switch can transform any home appliance into a smart one and can be operated as long as the smartphone has network access(2G/3G/4G/WiFi). Users can control appliances from any location by turning them on or off. An extra feature includes setting timers for appliances, which can include countdown/scheduled/loop timers, facilitating an easier lifestyle for users.
The eWeLink mobile application simplifies the process of controlling the appliances. You can download the iOS version of the app from the Apple Store while the Android version is available on Google Play.
