The SONOFF DW2-Wi-Fi wireless door/window sensor provides a way to monitor the security of your home, regardless of your location. Comprising of two pieces – a transmitter and a magnetic switch – this product can be affixed to any door or window. The transmitter is stationed on the door or window, while the magnetic switch secures to the frame.
Whenever the door or window is opened, the sensor activates an alarm that instantly alerts your smartphone. You can easily pair this device with a SONOFF wireless IP camera to check any suspicious activity on the sensor’s APP page. Furthermore, the current status of the door or window (open or closed) can also be viewed real-time on the eWeLink APP.
A distinctive feature of this sensor is the battery level indicator along with a low-battery reminder. This allows you to monitor the timeframe for which the sensor can operate, and know when the battery needs to be replaced. The installation process is hassle-free, requiring only a simple peel-and-stick method.
The sensor can function up to 3 months, given the door/window is opened or closed three times a day.
