Unlike the old version MINI, which has an external antenna with strong electricity, the upgraded MINIR2 neatly houses the antenna within the switch for safer usage. The S1 and S2 interfaces are colored gray to differentiate them from the other input and output interfaces, serving as a safety reminder to avoid connecting strong current to them. The device passed the 2KV surge test, exceeding the CE certification requirement of 1KV. The MINIR2 also has ANATEL certification, indicating it provides a safe user experience. This compact smart switch is adaptable to various switch boxes, including the smallest EU standard switch box, and is convenient for automating home appliances via the eWeLink app on your smartphone or through voice command. It offers three triggering modes: pulse mode (for push button switches), edge mode (for SPDT switches), and following mode (for switches with “ON” and “OFF” marks and sensors with dry contact output). It features a DIY mode for developers where users can integrate MINIR2 into third-party open source smart home systems like Home Assistant, openHAB, and ioBroker for LAN control without any cloud service.
