The SONOFF PIR3-RF motion sensor is a versatile device that enhances the security of your home. Unlike the PIR2 model, the PIR3-RF has a compact design that can fit almost anywhere to monitor movement. When installed in your home, it promptly detects movement within an 8m range, thus keeping you alert whether a person or a pet is moving inside your house.

Connect this device to the SONOFF camera for visual monitoring, or connect to the SONOFF RF Bridge to activate or deactivate your lights automatically. You can establish a setting where the hallway lights turn on as soon as you come in.

The flexible universal joint lets the sensor rotate 360° horizontally and 90° vertically, providing optimal viewing angles. However, it should be noted that the sensor does not self-adjust based on detected motion. You can affix the sensor in places where movement detection has been difficult; simply rotate the joint to find the ideal detection angle.

PIR3-RF offers two working modes: alert and normal. In the alert mode, if any movement is detected within range, the sensor is triggered every 5 seconds. In the normal mode, a subsequent alert is triggered only if no motion is detected within a minute from the previous detection.

Please note, the PIR3-RF sensor requires a SONOFF 433MHz RF Bridge for operation, which is sold separately. Also, the universal joint is not included: you will need to buy it separately.
