This 200mm Stainless Steel Double Ball Liquid Float Switch is suitable for monitoring water levels in various settings. Its utility extends to water tanks, ponds, tanks, fish tanks, and in other systems where liquid level control is required, whether for drainage or water storage. It performs the dual function of an upper and lower level alarm switch.
The switch’s interior houses reed switch contacts of high sensitivity. However, the float ball point is fixed and is limited up and down by circlips, which are not movable. The internal reed contacts also do not move.
It’s important to note that the float switch should not control pumps or solenoid valves directly as the inbuilt reed contact current will burn when managing a large load. To control solenoid valves or alarms, small relays should be added, and the control of water pumps requires an additional small relay and AC contactor, determined by the pump’s power.
