Description: For optimal durability and longevity, avoid using the iron tip at persistently high temperatures as it can cause significant damage. The typical melting point for regular solder is 183℃, while that of lead-free solder is 227℃. The optimal temperature range for soldering work is between 300-380℃. Above 380℃, iron oxidation and loss accelerate, adversely affecting the heating core’s lifespan. Temperatures over 380℃ will cause the display to flutter, with the fluctuations becoming more pronounced with increasing temperature. However, this is a standard occurrence and does not impede usage.
The new soldering iron tip incorporated in this soldering station may display variance in temperature or an ERROR message due to its unstable resistance. This is a normal phenomenon, and stability will improve after a few uses.
