Product Description:
The TMC2208 stepper motor driver module, in comparison to the TMC2100 model, generates less heat. When calibrated at 0.8A, the heat output of TMC2208 mirrors the TMC2100’s heat output at 0.5A. Hence, the two models are interchangeable in terms of their heat characteristics.
Guidelines for Drive Current Algorithm and Regulation:
- Use ‘Verf’ to measure the voltage between Gnd and the center of the potentiometer.
- Ensure motors are disconnected when conducting this voltage measurement to prevent drive damage.
- Connect the power supply during the voltage measurement, and not only the USB power.
