The SYNCO Mic-D1 is an upgraded, CNC-processed brass metal microphone that offers superb performance with its advanced features. Its construction with instrument-grade brass prevents damping of acoustic vibrations and enables bright, clear sound. The robust material also lends the Mic-D1 a strong anti-interference capacity. Its matte finish minimizes unwanted light reflections.
The microphone comes with a high-pass filter function. By pressing the select button, it efficiently removes low-frequency noise and rumble at 180Hz. These are usually caused by footsteps, record players, air conditioners, blowers, and so forth. Through an innovative sound wave interference technology, the Mic-D1 filters out some frequencies of noise as well.
The 11.22-inch-long condenser microphone is perfect for ENG, outdoor recording, and camera mounting. The product includes a 3/8″ to 5/8″ mic holder for easy placement on a boom pole or tripod. The microphone connects to cameras, camcorders, mixer boards, etc., via XLRM-XLRF cable and 3.5mm-XLR cable.
Powering the SYNCO directional condenser mic is simplified with two alternatives. One, relying on a 48V phantom power supplied by professional video cameras, mixing boards, or recording devices. Two, it can be operated by a single AA battery lasting over 100 hours. This feature is handy for DSLR cameras, computers, and other devices not offering phantom power.
