Product: 3D Printer Teensylu V0.8 Hi3D RepRap Prusa Mendel Control Board
The 3D Printer Teensylu V0.8 Hi3D RepRap Prusa Mendel Control Board is a device based on the Sanguinololu project. It’s equipped with an Atmel AT90USB1286 MCU, a replacement for the ATmega644P. The included microcontroller comes with on-chip USB, removing the requirement for the FTDI USB UART.
The control board has a LUFA CDC bootloader pre-installed on the AT90USB1286, allowing firmware upload directly through USB cable. It also transitioned the through-hole resistors and capacitors to 0805 SMT components. It retains the Sanguinololu’s expansion headers that support I2C, SPI, UART, and ADC pins. Moreover, all additional I/O ports of the AT90USB have been exposed through headers for easier prototyping.
Measurements and Specifications:
- Dimensions: 100 x 60mm
- Teensylu clone, featuring Atmel’s AT90USB1286
- Onboard support for up to 4 Pololu stepper driver boards (X, Y, Z Extruder)
- Power supply: ATX power supply for logic and motors or 5mm screw terminal 7-35V for motors, and USB 5V for logic.
- Two thermistor connectors
- Two N-MOSFETs for extruder/bed heaters
- One low power MOSFET driver fan
- Selectable 12v/5v endstop voltage
- Four endstops, including a 4th E-Stop as an emergency stop
- 14 additional pins for expansion and development (6 analog and 8 digital compatible with Sanguinololu). These pins allow for functions like UART1 (RX and TX), I2C (SDA and SCL), SPI (MOSI, MISO, SCK), PWM pin (1), and Analog I/O (6).
