For protection against potential surge voltage and current on the power input side, it is recommended to install surge protective devices and surge arresters upstream to the MCB.
Moreover, when an appropriate tripping curve is selected and installed, the MCB will switch off its protected circuit in the event of a fault, safeguarding against electric shocks. The TOMC7-63 circuit breakers are multi-standard, incorporating protection mechanisms against short-circuit and overload currents. They are suitable for industrial isolation as per the IEC/EN 60947-2 standard.
