Pairing Tips:
Our smart switch is equipped with two buttons – the left one is meant for WiFi pairing (also a manual switch), while the right one is for remote pairing.
The switch features three indicators. The left indicator shows the WiFi status, the middle one is the power button (indicated by a solid red light). This power button also doubles as the relay output signal light, which glows blue while outputting, and turns off when the output is shut down. The light also serves as a remote control pairing signal indicator.
Pairing Guidelines for App Mode:
Switch on the power and the power button will glow red.
Press and hold the WiFi button for 10 seconds – watch for the WiFi indicator to start blinking. This indicates pairing mode.
Open the TUYA app on your smartphone and scan for the device. Tip for first time users: keep your phone, the switch, and your router in close proximity for optimal connectivity. Successful pairing will be indicated within around 15 seconds through a stationary blue light. You can then rename your device, enter the app interface and customize your settings such as scene and location settings.
Please note, the smart switch is set to ‘off’ by default. Desired changes can be made in the “Restart Setting” of the app. Choices available include “Power Off”, “Power On” or “Power Off Memory”.
Pairing guidelines for Remote Mode:
Again, switch on the power and look for the power button glowing red.
Click the “Remote” key 8 times – when the indicator light flashes red and then goes out, it signifies that the code has been successfully cleared.
Now, press the “Remote” button two times, look for the red indicator light, press the remote control button now. If the red light flashes three times quickly and then switches off, releasing the finger will confirm successful setup of self-lock mode.
Setting Toggle Mode:
Press the pairing button twice quickly, the red LED light will come on. Press the remote control button, see the red LED flash quickly and then switch off. This indicates success in setting the toggle mode. This implies that upon pressing the remote control button, the receiver’s relay will switch on, and pressing again will switch it off. Note: This dual relay module does not support momentary or latched modes.
