Product Overview: This is the UNI-T UT383 Digital Mini Lux Light Meter; a handheld environmental testing device designed to accurately gauge light intensity. This compact, lightweight, and user-friendly tool uses advanced photoelectric sensing technology to translate light intensity into electric signals. These signals are then processed and displayed on an easy-to-read LCD screen.
The UT383 is ideal for various settings that require precise light measurements, such as homes, schools, offices, laboratories, indoor farming facilities, hospitals, and much more.
Specifications: The UT383 operates within an illumination range of 0-199999 Lux with automatic ranging. It uses a standard of 2856K color temperature flat lamp for regulation. Note: 1FC equals 10.76 Lux.
For readings between 0-9999 Lux, precision is ±(4% rdg+8dgts) and for readings over 10000 Lux, precision is ±(5% rdg +10dgts). Sampling happens every 0.5 seconds by refreshing the reading.
The device features an “OL” overload indication and a “HOLD” to display the Maximum/Minimum measurements. It has a manual on/off backlight and shuts down automatically if left untouched for 5 minutes.
You’ll be alerted with a prompt when power drops to between 3.0-3.5V. The meter is powered by 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included).
