The Rumba Plus Motherboard included in this package is an integral 3D printer control board based on the ATmega2560 AVR processor. It is purpose-built for CNC machinings, including 3D printers, engraving machines, and laser cutting machines.

The 3D printer can be controlled manually through a traditional personal computer. Connect the printer to your PC using the USB cable provided, or, print directly from an SD card. The integrated design, easy setup, and popular IDE software development compatibility ensure uncomplicated firmware upgrades and parameter configuration.

Our Rumba Plus Motherboard has an advantage over common 3D printing control boards, such as RAMPS, due to their additional motor drive. This enhances connectivity and stability by reducing straight plug parts.

Key Features & Parameters:

  1. Shares the same CPU as MEGA, utilizing Atmega2560 as the main control chip, coupled with high-performance USB chip ATMEGA16U2. This motherboard is compatible with all RAMPS-related firmware.
  2. Five temperature sensor interface inputs are included.
  3. Comes with an LCD expansion interface, enabling offline printing via a connection to a Chinese LCD screen and SD expansion board (supporting 2004 and 12864).
  4. A servo expansion interface is added to facilitate an automatic leveling system.
  5. Supports 6 A4988 16 subdivision stepper boards.
  6. Offers PWM DC outputs (for heating tubes, fans, etc.) with 6 outputs (1 large current channel, 3 medium current channels, and 2 small current channels), each powered by high-performance, low-resistance Mos tubes. Each output contains an LED indicator.
  7. Dual power supply design for voltages of 12v-35v, assuring no mutual interference. Supports an 11A current, 12V power supply for the hotbed part and a 5A, 12V power supply for other circuit parts. To minimize high temperature caused by heavy current on the Mega-Controller board, it is recommended to add a 12V cooling fan.
  8. Uses the Marlin firmware, which is popular for its stability, user-friendliness, and impressive functionality.
