Product Name: Water Flow Sensor

Description:
Behold the marvel of our Water Flow Sensor, a sophisticated device engineered to precisely monitor water flow. The sensor’s primary components are a plastic valve body, a flow rotor, and a hall sensor. This device is typically situated at the inlet of a water heater. Primarily, it’s designed to meticulously track and monitor the rate of water flow through the flow rotor components.

As the water flow influences the rotor, it sets into motion magnetically, with the rate of rotation and speed modifying according to the water flow. The hall sensor responds to these changes by emitting a corresponding pulse, a signal which the controller receives and uses to assess the water flow. It then adjusts and controls it appropriately.

Features:

  1. The sensor sports a sleek, lightweight body, with a compact form that makes installation a breeze.
  2. It’s built to last, with an internal stainless steel shaft and impeller that resist wear.
  3. The device is sealed to perfection to ensure it never leaks, even under extreme structure pressure.
  4. The hall sensor, produced with a German-imported element, is encapsulated with potting glue, providing protection against water and blocking all signs of ageing.
  5. The materials used are ROHS compliant as they meet the required testing standards.

Specification:

YF – S201 Frequency: F = 7.5 Q (L/Min) with an error of ±2%
Voltage: 3.5-24 VDC
Current should never surpass 10 mA.
It emits 4380 pulses per litre of water flow.
Flow rate calculation: F = 7.5
Q (L/Min) * unit time (in seconds)
Working Range: 0.3-6 L/Min

Usage Precautions:

It is essential to prevent any significant impacts, chemical erosion, or forceful collisions on the sensor. Upon installation, ensure it remains vertical, with an allowance of no more than 5 degrees. Keep the medium temperature from exceeding 120 °C.

The sensor outputs a square wave.

Installation Method:

  1. Red IN – Connect to the anode
  2. Yellow OUT – Signifies the output line
  3. Black GND – Connect to the cathode

Package contains:

1 x Water Flow Sensor
