The TPA3221 is a versatile, high-performance power amplifier designed to operate in a wide voltage range from 7V to 30V. It supports both stereo (2 x BTL) and mono (1 x PBTL) operation.
The output power varies based on THD+N value:
- At 10% THD+N, the output power is 105-W stereo into 4 Ω, 112-W stereo into 3 Ω, or 208-W mono into 2 Ω.
- At a lower 1% THD+N, the output power is 88-W stereo into 4 Ω, 100-W stereo into 3 Ω, or 170-W mono into 2 Ω.
The TPA3221 also features a built-in LDO for optional single-supply operation and a closed-loop feedback design. It supports a signal bandwidth up to 100 kHz, catering to high-frequency content from HD sources. The device boasts an excellent signal-to-noise ratio (>108-dB SNR A-Weighted) and a 60-dB PSRR under a BTL, no input signal condition.
The TPA3221 has an efficient operation rate of 90% in Class-D operation and integrated protection features against undervoltage, overvoltage, current limit, short circuit, and overheating.
This amplifier is manufactured by YJHiFi in the model Q1. It uses the Beijing 6J1 tube and the main filter capacitor is imported, supporting 1000UF/50V. For better signal-to-noise ratio, the device incorporates high-precision chip resistors.
The PCB board is designed with 1.6mm thick double-sided structure to ensure smooth current performance. It has a 2.0 oz copper thickness and a full tinning process for durability.
The amplifier’s input and output both use gold-plated RCA Lotus seat for durable and aesthetics aspect. The device also features Bluetooth connectivity via Qualcomm’s QCC3031 module with sbc/aac support and independent decoding with PCM5102.
The amplifier delivers an impressive output power of 200W+200W and operates under a DC18-30V 7A power supply. It weighs 0.65KG and measures 157mm in depth, 126mm in width, and 44mm in height (not including tube height).
The package comes with one power amplifier.
