Ⅰ. Operating Instructions:
Position the scale on a smooth and level surface. Press the “ON/OFF” button to power on the scale. You would then need to wait for the LCD display to show “0.0” or “0.00”. The object for weighing should be placed in the center of the weighing platform. To switch the unit of measurement, press the “MODE” button.
Ⅱ. Utilizing the Tare Function:
Upon powering on the scale as outlined above, the “tare item” should be placed on the platform. The “TARE” button needs to be pressed and you would have to wait until the LCD display denotes “0.0” or “0.00”. Following this, place the “net-weight-item” on the platform.
Ⅲ. Calibration Process:
With the scale turned off, you need to press the ON/OFF button to power it on. Once the LCD display reads “0.0” or “0.00”, press and hold the “MODE” button until the display presents “CAL”. Upon the release of the button, press “MODE” once more until the necessary weight glows on display. This is when the required weight needs to be placed on the center of the platform. Once the LCD display reads “PASS” and returns to the normal weighing mode, the calibration process is concluded. In case of discrepancies, this process needs to be repeated. It is advisable to check the availability of weights at the store where the scale was purchased.
